Behind the Build
At the heart of Go-Mine is Pierre Roux, our CEO, founder, principal designer and the driving force behind every Go-Mine plant we manufacture.
With more than 30 years of hands-on experience across the African continent, Pierre has built his knowledge where it matters most, in the field. He is a lifelong prospector, mineral-processing specialist, equipment designer and practical problem-solver who understands mining from the ground up.
Pierre personally leads the design philosophy behind Go-Mine’s equipment, from compact prospecting units to complete mineral-processing plants.
His experience allows him to look at an ore body, understand the challenges involved and develop practical processing solutions around the material, the location and the needs of the miner.
Over the years, Pierre has also contributed significantly to the development and evolution of small-scale mining and mineral-processing equipment used across Africa and internationally. Many of the concepts found in modern small-scale processing plants are based on principles and practical solutions that Pierre has worked with, refined and improved through decades of real mining experience.
What sets Pierre apart is not only his ability to design equipment, but his understanding of the complete mining process, from prospecting and ore evaluation, to crushing, milling, gravity concentration, chemical recovery, final clean-up and plant operation. Every Go-Mine plant carries his practical approach to engineering, keep it robust, keep it efficient, keep it serviceable and make sure it works in real mining conditions.
Under Pierre’s direction, Go-Mine equipment is designed, manufactured, factory-tested and, wherever possible, proven on operating mining sites before being delivered to a client.
Pierre Roux is not only the founder of Go-Mine, he is the knowledge and experience behind the equipment, the designs and the solutions that have shaped the company into what it is today.
